The Valley of Roses sits at the foot of the High Atlas Mountains in Morocco, where the mountains meet the Dadès Valley. It is irrigated by the Asif M'Goun river and its main village is Kelaat M'Gouna. Rose cultivation takes place in two distinct geographical areas: the first begins at around 10 km from Kelaat M'Gouna village and continues for 10 km, ending near the town of Boumalne Dadès.



Reception at the airport Marrakech Menara, transfer to hotel.


After breakfast, minibus departure to M’goun Valley through the Tichka the highest road pass in Morocco, magnificent scenery offered by the High Atlas. Lunch at Kelaâ M’gouna then on to the Dades Valley the most beautiful valley in southern Morocco with its kasbahs, fortresses and almond trees blossom from January to mid-February Stay overnight at the lodge.


Your day’s walk begins at 08:30, we follow the fields in the Dades Valley and after 40 minutes we go to the dry and arid plateau. We will have left the Dades Valley and its splendors to dive into the mountain wilderness. Lunch on the road. Continue to the valley by Ouzighimt Tizguine, rich and beautiful valley near the village of Camp Ighrem Aqdim. - 300m ascent - descent 100m.


We cross the valley Ouzighimt village Issoumar. After 02h past in the valley we reach Aguerzaka. We climb a mountain juniper and red oaks to reach the plateau of Alemdoun. We go down to the village of Alemdoun: - 300m ascent - descent 250m.


We are at the foot of 4000m in front of the famous chain of M’Goun 4068m, we dive into the beautiful valley of oleanders Assif Quati and return to the throats, and then we came to the villages Fougani Agouti, Agouti Tahtani, El Het and Aznag. Lunch and then we cross the bridge to the village of Boutaghar.


We are in the valley of roses known also for its kasbah. After the village of Timstiguit, river crossing. Ability to follow the Ti Alouite track when the river is flooded. Lunch at Hdida then crossing beautiful villages of the local architecture, Ait Said, Tourbist and IFAR. Camp Tabarkhacht to 07km Kelâa M’gouna.


After a march of 2:30 to 03h through the beautiful gardens of the Valley of Roses. Arrive Kelaâ M’gouna we take the minibus to Marrakech rally through the valley of a thousand kasbahs and Ouarzazate. Lunch at Taddert. Overnight at hotel in Marrakech.


After breakfast, transfer to Marrakech Menara Airport. Assistance with departure formalities.
