The High Atlas, North Africa’s greatest mountain range, contains some of the most intriguing and beautiful regions of Morocco. A historical and physical barrier between the northern plains and the pre-Sahara, its Berber-populated valleys feel – and indeed are – very remote from the country’s mainstream or urban life.



Arrival at Marrakech Menara Airport, transfer to hotel.


Departure by minibus from Marrakech to AZILAL, AIT MHAMED and neck of Tizi Oughbar. Lunch and 03h to reach the village of Sremt. Homestay overnight.


Descent to the village of Nkob. Lunch at Ighir in the valley of AIT ABBES. Descent to the village of AGUERSIF.


Departure across the track to the village of Abachkou known for its weekly market every Saturday. Lunch then continue by tiny valley that leads to the village of ROUGOULT Valley.


Uneven day with climbing until ROUGOULT neck where hikers are rare. Long descent followed by an ascent to the foot of SDREMT Pass.


Mounted tilted up to 3200 m at the Col de SDREMT, beautiful view of the valley Tassaout. Continue until Tarkedit tray. Lunch.


The rise of the famous M’Goun neck starts early in the morning. By following the ridge trail, reached the summit of M’Goun. Lunch, afternoon, and fatiuante long descent to the source of Oulilimt.


Day without major difficulties, but the scenery is everywhere. Camp Tighremt Do AIT AHMED.


Another day without large major difficulties along the OUZIGHIMT Valley. Corn fields, apple and peach give unparalleled beauty to this region. Camp TARZOUTE.


Long walk in the water when the snow melts, the program change from the last two days are necessary. Arrive Tiranimine. Homestay overnight.


Crossing traditional villages, Kasbahs, down the river to the village of Boutarhrar.


Walk through the beautiful 5:30 M’Goun Valley with its numerous Kasbahs to reach Tabarkhacht. Camp and end of the hike.


Departure by minibus to Marrakech through the grove of SKOURA and Ouarzazate. Continuation to Marrakech by TICHKA Pass. Overnight at hotel.


Free day for relaxing or exploring the MARRAKECH.Nuit valley at the hotel.


Breakfast then transfer to Marrakech Menara Airport. Assistance with departure formalities.
